* Wider Field of View: Optimised prism size and eyepieces with large diameter for a larger field of view vs original ELs.
* Colour fringing has been reduced with flouride glass.
* Exit Pupil: Extension of the exit pupil distance to 20 mm and thus 100 % wide-angle field of view for eyeglass-wearers
* Lighter Weight vs original ELs and improved grip from rubber armouring on inside of barrels.
* Diopter Compensation: +/- 5 dpt to compensate different visual acuity in each eye.
* New Focusing Mechanism delivers ease of movement and reliability.
* Newly designed objective lens covers attach to the binocular more conveniently and stay-on better .

SWAROVSKI
The best of the best in binoculars remains the Swarovski “EL” series of binoculars. Their revolutionary grip by removing the centre bridge provides excellent ergonomics. In addition, Swarovski offers excellent servicing in Canada, should it ever be required. We stock all models of the EL series. The SLC series has been upgraded with the same Swarobright coatings used on the EL’s and have received a new ergonomic lightweight shell. The original EL series is still available, while the new series will be released in January 2010.
The ZEISS "VICTORY FL" binoculars are in stock and are proving very popular. The new Victory series is brighter & offers a wider field of view than the original Victories. Zeiss pricing has gone up in 2009.
