2nd Annual Border City Classic – Ontario and Michigan’s Largest Kayak Fishing Tournament
The kayak fishing tournament is located in Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, MI. This Ontario/Michigan event allows for anglers of all skill levels to participate in a one day competition. The format will be, Catch Photo and Release of the your 3 best Bass, Largemouth or Smallmouth. Kayak Fishing on the Detroit River, Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie waterways can offer anglers an incredible experience. With so many species to potentially catch and so many trophies swimming in these waters, you are bound to find yourself getting towed by something. Don’t Have a Kayak? The Border City Classic is not just for the competitive kayak angler, the Canadian Kayak Anglers goal of their events is to help grow the sport of freshwater kayak fishing. Pelee Wings Kayak & Canoes from Leamington, Ontario, and Great Lakes Kayak Fishing from Eastern, Michigan, will have kayaks with full safety gear available to the first pre-registered participants in both Michigan and Ontario.
