Rental FAQs

We currently offer rentals of binoculars, kayaks, canoes and SUPS at both of our locations as well as bicycles at our location inside of Point Pelee National Park.

Bicycle and watersport rentals inside of Point Pelee must remain in the park. Binocular rentals and rentals from our main store can be taken wherever you would like! It isn’t uncommon to see some of our rental kayaks and canoes on the highway heading to the French River or Algonquin!

Rentals start at our open time which varies by season. Rentals with durations less than a full day are due back 30 minutes before we close. If rentals are not returned before we close, we reserve the right to charge you appropriately.

For watersports rentals you will receive the following: Watercraft enough paddles, PFD (Lifejacket) and safety gear for the number of people paddling. For Bicycle rentals, you will receive the following: Bicycle, helmet For Binocular rentals, you will receive the following: Pair of Binoculars, case, neckstrap and any included lens covers. With any of the rentals, suggestions of cool local places to check out and a tutorial of the use of the equipment is included!
