The Hawke Optics FRONTIER ED X GEN 2 8x42 binoculars deliver exceptional clarity and colour fidelity for serious outdoor enthusiasts. Featuring Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass elements, phase-corrected BaK4 roof prisms with dielectric coatings for maximum light transmission. The 8x magnification paired with 42mm objective lenses provides a bright, wide field of view (426 ft/1000 yds). A close focus of 2.0m (6.6 ft) allows detailed observation of near subjects. The binoculars are nitrogen filled, o-ring sealed for waterproof and fogproof performance. The lightweight magnesium alloy chassis (675g/23.8oz) is rubber armoured for shock resistance. Fully multi-coated lenses with H7 anti-reflection coating. 17.2mm eye relief for comfortable viewing with glasses. Tripod adaptable.
